The Ozark Folk Center State Park, located in Mountain View, Arkansas, is home to the Arkansas CMA's "VENUE of the year", the Ozark Highlands Theater, which is nationally known as a premiere venue for traditional American music, including country & Western, bluegrass, and Southern mountain music among others.

The Ozark Folk Center is located 1 mile from court square in downtown Mountain View, also known as the "Folk Music Capitol" of the Ozarks, 5 miles from the White River, 10 miles from the pristine Ozark National Forest (home to the world famous Blanchard Springs Caverns) and 40 miles from the Buffalo National River area.  The National Forest offers three recreation areas nearby where primitive camping, hiking, and swimming are available.
