Total Cost of Class $147 - Which includes $22 registration fee paid here to sign up, (covers your admission to the Craft Village & Heritage Herb Garden). You owe the $100 class fee and $25 materials fee to Susan at the beginning of class. Susan accepts cash, check or Paypal.

Learn about the diverse plants to forage as the seasons change in the Heritage Herb Garden—each season is different—providing us with a variety of wild weeds & tasty edibles. While helping to cultivate the gardens, students will learn to identify and process “weeds” that are good to eat & safe remedies. Participants will experience immersive herbalism while practicing conservation, harvesting, cleaning & preservation. We will prepare and feast upon a scrumptious summertime salsa verde served with seasonal veggies like summer-ripe tomatoes & cucumbers; summer rolls with wild foraged herbs & edible flowers; a Rubus leaf & berry iced tea—& who knows what other surprises we might come up with?! Each student will go home with some jewelweed vinegar.
Bring pruners or scissors, a chef & paring knife & a basket for gathering. We will be outside harvesting, so dress accordingly.
