The Ozark Folk Center State Park is located one mile north of downtown Mountain View, Arkansas and five miles from the scenic White River. The world-famous Blanchard Springs Caverns is located ten miles north in the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest. Camping, sightseeing, hiking, floating and swimming are popular activities in the National Forest, as well at the Buffalo National River, which is about an hour west of Mountain View.
Meet your instructor at 10 a.m. in the Visitor Center Lobby and you'll go from there to your classroom at the Ozark Folk Center State Park.
