ABOUT ABOUT

Susan Belsinger has been writing creatively for 40 years. In this workshop she will discuss many different venues of creative expression and help you to find your inner herbal. She will discuss many aspects of writing from keeping a journal or a gardeners’ notebook; pressing botanical specimens; how to put together and document your own materia medica for reference; or assemble a recipe book for favorite recipes. She will also show you a few of her past fun projects from journals to herbal notecards to calendars.

Each participant should bring a book for journaling and Susan will provide art supplies for your first entries whether you write, draw or botanicize. Susan will have a handout with recipe and materia medica formats. This class requires no artistic talent (though you all have it)—just a desire to unleash your own creativity and get you writing!
