Make the beautiful drive to the Ozark Folk Center for the Next Generation Concert during Folk Festival in Mountain View, Arkansas on Saturday, April 20th, 2024.  You're sure to enjoy performances by Mountain View's young rising stars at the park's award-winning 1,000-seat indoor music venue, Ozark Highlands Theater.

Next Generation is a benefit concert sponsored by the Committee of 100 to raise money for the Music Roots Program for youth in Mountain View. By purchasing tickets, you're helping to ensure that our old-time mountain music and traditional stringband instruments are passed down to the next generation of musicians in the Folk Music Capital of Mountain View.

Performers include:
-Sylamore Special, 2024 SPGMA International Bluegrass Band Champions
-Ozark Granny Chicks featuring 3x Arkansas Country Music Awards nominee Pam Setser
-Taller Than You featuring National Hammered Dulcimer Champion Runner-Up Benjamin Haguewood
-Ozark Strangers featuring state fiddle champion Truett Brannon
-5 South featuring state fiddle champion Kailee Spickes
-The Parker Unit featuring 13x state fiddle champion Mary Parker and National Mandolin Champion Runner-Up Gordan Parker
-Music Roots Ensemble featuring Music Roots' top students on fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, mountain dulcimer, and upright bass

Box office opens at 5 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. Show starts at 7 p.m.

Buy your tickets in advance. Tickets purchased day of the concert at the theater (or Gift Shop) cost $2.00 more!

This event is made possible by the generous funding from the Committee of One Hundred for the Ozark Folk Center. The Committee of One Hundred (COOH) is made up of women from across the state who have devoted time and raised funds for ongoing programs at the Center, including Craft Apprenticeships, the Music Roots Program, the Heritage Herb Garden, and other projects that support the park's mission. Need a place to stay and eat? The Skillet Restaurant at the Ozark Folk Center offers classic Southern fare and a scenic dining room near the Craft Village shops and gardens. The Cabins at Dry Creek offer modern duplex rooms to meet a variety of needs including pet-friendly rooms, suites, and family-style rooms.

Music & Craft Season Passes are honored at this event. (A $240 concert value for $90.)
  Included: Admission to evening concerts, championship contests, and festivals featuring bluegrass, folk, and country music at our 1,000-seat indoor music venue, Ozark Highlands Theater, during our season (Apr. 2-Oct. 26, 2024).

  Included: Unlimited visits to the Craft Village for old-fashioned fun at the park's 20+ artisan shops, gardens, and live music sets by talented Ozark musicians at the Blacksmith Stage every Tuesday-Saturday in-season.

  Not included:  Admission to Celebrity Concerts. General admission seating at our 1,000-seat indoor music theater is on a first-come, first-served basis and season passes are non-transferable.
