This fall, retreat to the Ozarks for two days of lively stringband music & dance, handcrafted arts, and old-fashioned fun at the Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View, Arkansas. FREE admission is included with your festival ticket to the Craft Village for live music sets, craft demonstrations, gardens, and more from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Stringband Music & Arts Festival includes live music, craft demonstrations, and entertainment during the daytime in the Craft Village and music shows at the park's 1,000-seat indoor music venue, Ozark Highlands Theater, on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon/evening. Performers include:
-Dirk & Amelia Powell - Four-time GRAMMY Award-winning fiddler, banjoist, producer, and singer Dirk Powell, and his daughter Amelia, are a powerful musical duo steeped in Cajun and American roots music
-Lonesome Ace Stringband - This Toronto-based old-time folk and bluegrass band are currently touring Europe, Canada, and the U.S.
-The Creek Rocks - The Ozark's quintessential folk band consisting of husband-and-wife duo Cindy Woolf (banjo/vocals) and Mark Bilyeu (guitar/vocals)
-Salem Plateau - Old time duo made up of five-time Arkansas CMA-winner Grace Stormont (vocals/fiddle/banjo) and Joseph McCarthy (banjo)
-Bug Shuffle Stringband - An all-star band of old time musicians and performers from Stone County featuring the host of Ozark Highlands Radio, Dave Smith (vocals/banjo), Shay Pool (fiddle), Scott Pool (guitar)
-Riggsville Ramblers - Mountain View's newest old time stringband consisting of talented veteran musicians and songsters with decades of musical experience
-Music Roots Ensemble - Talented youth from the Music Roots program in Stone County, Arkansas
-O.F.C. Square Dancers

x Not included: Admission to Celebrity Concerts. General admission seating at our 1,000-seat indoor music theater is on a first-come, first-served basis and season passes are non-transferable.
Need a place to stay? The Cabins at Dry Creek located on-site offer modern duplex rooms to meet a variety of needs including pet-friendly rooms, suites, and family-style rooms. Rooms are close in proximity to the Skillet Restaurant and the Ozark Folk Center's Craft Village. Shuttle service is available to-and-from shows at the theater for cabin guests.

Parking
Please, park in the lower lot at the Ozark Folk Center State Park. A shuttle will transport you up the hill to the Ozark Highlands Theater. If you wish to walk, look for the steps that lead from the lower parking lot to the theater on top of the hill. For your safety, do not walk on the road that leads to the theater!
