This class will focus on some of the healing herbs which help to relieve stress and anxiety, support the immune system, and restore and rejuvenate the mind and body and help with inflammation. “Adaptogens” became a buzz word during the pandemic—find out what they do and why we should use them.
Some of these herbs might be familiar to you and we can harvest them from the Heritage Herb Garden. We will examine each one of these healing botanicals for identification, discuss their healing properties and taste them in infusions, syrups or tinctures. Each student will make a tincture and a glycerite to take home, as well as some samples of these healing plants, along with an informative handout and a focus on well-being.
Class minimum is 3 and maximum is 8.
