The Ozark Folk Center State Park is located one mile north of downtown Mountain View, Arkansas and five miles from the scenic White River. The world-famous Blanchard Springs Caverns is located ten miles north in the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest. Camping, sightseeing, hiking, floating and swimming are popular activities in the National Forest, as well at the Buffalo National River, which is about an hour west of Mountain View.
Meet your instructor in the Visitor Center Lobby at the Ozark Folk Center State Park at the beginning of class. There you'll get your name badge and park packet. You'll go from there to your classroom.
