ABOUT ABOUT

This summer, retreat to the Ozarks for Country Blues & BBQ at the Ozark Folk Center State Park in lovely Mountain View, Arkansas. Join the fun us as the Folk Center celebrates the blues of the Mississippi Delta and beyond during this two-day event featuring GRAMMY Award-winning musicians, family-friendly entertainment in the Craft Village, and Southern style barbecue at The Skillet Restaurant (sold separately).

Sponsored by Tommy's Famous BBQ & Ribs (served on Friday and Saturday night at The Skillet's buffet), Stone Bank, Fireside Retreats, and the Arkansas Arts Council.

Country Blues & BBQ features three memorable shows at the park's 1,000-seat indoor music venue, the Ozark Highlands Theater, on Friday and Saturday including performances by GRAMMY Award-winners Jimbo Mathus and Alvin "Youngblood" Hart, Nicholas Edward Williams, Joseph Kirby, and Danny Dozier with a tribute to legendary guitarist Merle Travis.

Click HERE to reserve your modern duplex cabin room at the Cabins at Dry Creek, located at the Ozark Folk Center, during Country Blues & BBQ Festival June 17th and 18th.

The Ozark Folk Center State Park is home to dozens of demonstrating artists and 20 artisan shops in the park's nationally-renowned Craft Village which will be open for you to explore and shop throughout the weekend. During your visit, stop by the upper level of the Village to see a concert at the Blacksmith Stage featuring traditional American songs and Southern Mountain music performed by the region's finest folk musicians.

If immersing yourself in nature is more your style, set aside time to discover the Heritage Herb Garden, located throughout the Craft Village, where pass-along plants, flowers, and herbs for healing will be on display during the summertime. For families with children, be sure to visit the park's animal-powered picnic swing for a ride with Whiskey or Tango the Donkey and experience the historic Shannon Cabin and One-room Schoolhouse to imagine pioneer life in the Ozarks.
