Whether you want to hone your musical abilities or it's your first time playing the mountain or hammered dulcimer, the annual Dulcimer Jamboree Workshops are a great opportunity to relax, get hands-on, and make music with fellow musicians. Make your plans now to attend the Dulcimer Jamboree at the Ozark Folk Center in scenic Mountain View, Arkansas on April 25th, 26th, and 27th, 2024.

Workshop registration includes admission to evening concerts on Friday and Saturday plus admission to the Ozark Folk Center Craft Village for live old-time music and craft demonstrations & shopping in 20 artisan shops. Thanks to the Committee of 100, all visitors are free to enjoy the unique and ancients sounds of the mountain and hammered dulcimer at the Arkansas State Dulcimer Championships on Friday evening and all-day Saturday.

Workshops are available for new-comers, beginners, intermediate players, and advanced mountain dulcimer and hammered dulcimer players.

Registration fees include admission to concerts on Friday and Saturday.

If you have a spouse or friend attending the event with you, please purchase a 3-Day Non-Participant pass for them. This will allow them all-day admission to the Craft Village, park events, and concerts throughout the weekend

Reserve your duplex cabin room at the Cabins at Dry Creek, located at the Ozark Folk Center, during the Dulcimer Jamboree Workshops, Concerts & Championship Contests April 25-27. On-site lodging is expected to fill up quickly for this workshop!

2024 Dulcimer Jamboree Registration Info

All workshop registrations are processed through an online portal on this website (OzarkFolkCenter.Ticketleap.com). This will allow us to track registration information, keep accurate student counts, process refunds, and check in students with more efficiency than past years. You will need a credit card and a valid email address to register.

When registering for yourself, someone else, or for multiple students, be sure to answer the questions when you are prompted during the registration process and include the actual names of the student(s). This will ensure we have their proper names on their name badges and registration packets.

No registrations will be taken over the phone or by mail.

Workshop Format

By selecting your level and answering the registration questions, we will be better able to schedule classroom assignments. Note that you will be able to move from different levels and take classes from different instructors, as you like. Your level selection when registering online does not lock you into a specific class for the duration of the workshop.

Pricing

Registration for the 3-day event is $158.50. Your registration includes 3 days of workshop classes (Thursday through Saturday), admission to evening concerts on Friday and Saturday. and all-day admission to the Craft Village and all other park events happening throughout the weekend.

Single-Day and Walk-Up Registration

Registration for single day classes and walk-up students will be processed at the front desk in the Visitor Center (formerly the Admin. Building) once the workshop has started. Single-day classes are $75.00. Walk-up registration for the 3-day workshop is $175.00.

3-Day Non-Participant Pass (Savings of $50.00)

This $30.00 pass is available for spouses, friends and family members of workshop attendees who want to take advantage of what the Ozark Folk Center has to offer and will not be attending workshops. This one-person pass allows admission to the Craft village on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and music concerts on Friday and Saturday night. Purchase a Non-Participant Pass.

Cancelation and Refund Policy

Registration fees are refundable for this workshop until the close of business on April 24, 2024. Refunds cannot be issued after April 24th!

General Information

Doors to Visitor Center open each morning at 7:30 a.m.
Skillet Resturant opens for breakfast buffet on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 a.m.

Registration & Orientation

The Visitor Center, across from the Skillet Restaurant, opens on Thursday at 7:30 a.m. Students will check in using a printed copy of their online registration form or receipt on their mobile device. Nametags and a final version of the event schedule will be available in the lobby at check in.

Orientation begins Thursday at White Oak Theater inside the Visitor Center at 8:30 a.m.
