Open up a whole new world of possibilities on your rigid heddle loom with double-heddle weaving! This is an advanced workshop for weavers already familiar with their rigid heddle loom and ready to take the next step in discovering the possibilities of this wonderful little machine. We will learn how to warp the rigid heddle loom with 2 heddles - effectively doubling the EPI (ends per inch), and opening up an entire world of possible patterns. Students will make a scarf using a number of double-heddle weaving techniques. Registration required two weeks prior to class.

Meeting Place: Administration Building
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Admission: $43 Registration Fee due to register.

Class fee of $180 covers all materials and is due to the instructor at the beginning of class.

Total class cost $223.

Required skills: This is an advanced workshop for weavers already familiar with the rigid heddle loom. Students must be comfortable with basic warping and weaving on their loom. It is recommended that students bring their own loom, heddles, & shuttles if possible.
