Week two of Folk Kids' Summer Daycamp at the Ozark Folk Center is for children ages 8 through 12 years-old who like to make things by-hand, learning with kids their age, and exploring the Great Outdoors.

Daycamp includes five days of indoor and outdoor activities with Ozark Folk Center staff including hiking, making crafts, music, daily swimming, and a field trip to South Sylamore Creek, the Arkansas Craft School, and Blanchard Springs Recreation Area.

NOTE: Due to a limited number of spaces, children who attend Week One of Summer Daycamp (June 17-21) are not be permitted to attend Week Two of daycamp (July 8-12).

Required forms
Parent(s) and guardian(s) must: (1) Accompany their child to daycamp on the first morning of camp on Monday, July 8th (2) Turn in a signed photo release form (3) Turn in a signed permission slip in order to attend camp. The permission slip grants your child permission to participate in the following activities...

- Physical outdoor activities, such as hiking and swimming, and hands-on activities where children may use sharp tools such as scissors

Arrival/Departure
Our daycamp classroom is located at Ozark Highlands Theater, next to the Gift Shop, at the Ozark Folk Center State Park. Each day, campers arrive at the theater between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and pick-up is between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. (except on Friday, July 12th.)

End of the week
On Friday, July 12th, a graduation ceremony will be held for family and friends at the White Oak Theater beginning at 5:30 p.m. Feel free to arrive before the ceremony starts at 5 p.m. to see the kids' crafts and enjoy snacks and refreshments. The White Oak Theater is located inside the Visitor Center across from the Skillet Restaurant.

Scholarships
