The Ozark Folk Center State Park is located one mile north of downtown Mountain View, Arkansas and five miles from the scenic White River. The world-famous Blanchard Springs Caverns is located ten miles north in the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest. Camping, sightseeing, hiking, floating and swimming are popular activities in the National Forest, as well at the Buffalo National River, which is about an hour west of Mountain View.
Meet your instructor and get your class packet in the Visitor Center Lobby at 10 a.m. on the first day of class. The Cabins at Dry Creek, located in the park offer a discount for Folk School students staying 3 or more nights.
